As the first league across Europe, the Betrideildin of the Faroe Islands is set to start this Saturday, the 9th of may, after the Covid-19 crisis.
For that reason there has been much more focus on Faroese league football than ever seen before.
As a clear example, we have seen that the Norwegian television company TV2 has bought the broadcasting rights for the league, for the first time ever.
Our scout, Søren Nielsen, who played 3 years in the league, from 2016-2019, have followed the league since his retirement in 2019 and have the following to say: “I am happy that the young players, playing football in Faroe Islands, now has the chance to get some exposure for scouts, agents and football professionals abroad. For that reason I have created a list of the 8 best young players in the Faroe Islands, so that scouts, clubs and agents has an idea of what and who to look out for.”
